Congratulations to Sweet Candy Café owner, Felicia Evans Long, for being selected as one of National Alumni Association of Shaw University (NAA) and Shaw University's Office of Alumni 2019 Class of Vanguards! The 1994 Shaw University Graduate and the other Vanguard recipients will be honored at an event on June 8, 2019, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Save the Date! Local business owner and Lumberton native Felicia Evans Long will celebrate Sweet Candy Cafe's fifth year in business on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the store's location at 212 North Chestnut in Historic Downtown with special activities planned for the public, and you're invited.
The Timothy R. Long Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to Christ the King Prep senior students. The scholarship provides assistance for expenses incurred during the transition from high school to college.
From May 19-21, 2015, the Sweet Candy Café team attended their first Sweet and Snacks Expo in Chicago, IL! The trip was made possible thanks to The Allured Fund for Confectionery Education grant from the MC/Manufacturing Confectionery Publishing Company of Princeton, Wisconsin.

Sweet Candy Cafe of Lumberton, N.C., has been awarded The Allured Fund for Confectionery Education grant from the MC/Manufacturing Confectionery Publishing Company of Princeton, Wisconsin. The grant awarded by Michael Allured and the grant committee will enable Sweet Candy Cafe to participate in the National Confectioners Association Sweets & Snacks Expo on May 19-21, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois.
Sweet Candy Café Delivers Holiday Wishes to Pediatric Patients

Sweet Candy Café delivered donated holiday gifts to 15 beds in the Pediatrics Unit for patients who are in the Hospital for the Holidays at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina.

On Saturday, June 29, 2013, Lumberton confectionery Sweet Candy Café participated in the 2013 Vonta Leach Youth Football & Cheer Camp, at Lumberton High School, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Sweet Candy Café donated specially prepared candy treat bags for more than 500 participating 6-16 year-old students.
The December 1st Grand Opening of Sweet Candy Café was a Blast of Fun! We had customers from ages 1 to 92... Many thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us in Downtown Lumberton, North Carolina.
