Many thanks for your continued support of our confectionery storefront in Historic Downtown Lumberton, North Carolina. I can hardly believe it has been three years since we open the doors of our flagship storefront which was almost derailed by the fire in Downtown in October 2012.
A lot has changed in my life personally and professionally this past year. As you can imagine, it has been an emotional journey continuing the store without my dearest husband and Sweet Candy Cafe co-founder Tim but Sweet Candy Cafe means so much to the both of us. We have worked so hard bringing our candy store to life.
On November 28, 2015, during American Express Shopsmall Saturday, is the 3rd Anniversary of Sweet Candy Cafe. We will have lot of free treats, gifts from Shopsmall Saturday, and confectionery treats for purchase. All sales from Saturday, November 28th will go towards the 2nd Annual Timothy R. Long Memorial Scholarship Fund (awarded in August 2016).
Again, I thank you for your understanding and continued support. Special thanks to our team (#teamtim) Courtney and Quin who make it all possible for me. And to my volunteer staff, Tonya Crump, Melissa Cade, Megan Shupe, Michael Evans, Lynn Dockery, Odessa Evans (mom), Mr. Dick Taylor, and Jill Zung, we could not make it without all your hard work and dedication!
